Welcome to What I Ate Wednesday #2
|Breakfast-Whole Wheat Sourdough toast, Avocado, Egg, Fruit Salad|

|Post workout snack- Greek yogurt with muesli|
|Lunch-Coconut banana muffin... or 2 :)|
|Dinner- 2 slice chicken tomato spinach pizza|
|Snack- Blue Menu Peach Greek Yogurt Smoothie Popsicle|
Umm.. where's the veggies? I like WIAW for that reason- I can see what I ate, and what I forgot to eat! Today I will be making more of an effort to get some vegetables in my belly!
As for the workout part, I have finished 3 days of Jamie Eason's Livefit Trainer. Today was legs day, and the workout consisted of:
15 min Elliptical Warm-up
3 sets of 12 reps of all exercises:
Wide Stance Barbell Squat
Seated Leg Curl
Standing Calf Raises
Seated Calf Raises
I also did the hammer curls and standing bicep cable curls that I didn't quite get to yesterday- I got scared away from the weight room by a large gathering of muscle men waiting to use the equipment I was on. I know I should have just finished up, but I was tired and it was a good excuse to leave!
Its been a while since I did a leg workout... in fact I had never even used some of the machines at my new gym before. Some of their equipment was older, and took me a while to figure out.
When I got home from the gym I decided to try my luck at a short 2km walk/run. My foot hasn't bothered me since I got it worked on, so I decided to give it a go... and it was a success! I ran half and walked half and my foot felt awesome! I'm planning on hitting the track tomorrow morning for a slow jog session before livefit day 4, so we'll see how that goes. I still haven't made a decision on whether or not I am going to do the triathlon in Invermere this weekend. I'll probably end up deciding on Friday night.
