First taste of Crossfit

So I tried crossfit last night for the first time... and I actually really liked it! And I have a blister already which makes me feel really hardcore :)
Since it was our first time the trainer gave us a tababta warm up on the rower, and then set us up with a little circuit to see how our strength base was.

Short story- My strength base stinks!!!

I'm looking forward to increasing it though, I signed up to go 3X/week for a month, and then I will evaluate where I want to go from there. It's a spendy little workout, but I'm hoping it'll be worth it! My next session is Monday morning :)

I have a couple of runs planned for this weekend, a 10K and a 5K. I'm also planning on doing a workout video of some sort tomorrow, and practicing my squat form (because apparently mine stinks!). Maybe a swim one day to if I feel like getting my butt to the pool.

For all you crossfitters out there, how long did it take before you noticed a gain in strength?
Any suggestions for a great workout video? I have the 30 day shred and ripped in 30, but I'd like to try something new!
