New Years Resolutions- Update #3

1. Run 13 races in 2013

Race #1 was completed! I did a post on that race here. Doing a race always makes me excited for more races!! Check out my 2013 races tab to see the rest of the races I am planning on participating in this year!

2. Try out crossfit

Tried it and loved it!! I initially thought I'd sign up for a month just to try it out and say I did it, but I'm in love!! I am all signed up again for this month.

3. Be able to do 50 pushups in a row

I learned at crossfit that I really suck at pushups. Because of my shoulder, I hold my arms in a weird way resulting in pushups that are not proper pushups. So I'm back to the beginning, trying to do them properly. I am up to 3 now and I'm finding it really challenging. I feel like 50 might be a bit of a pipe dream at this point, but I think I'll wait and decide next month if I need to adjust this goal!

4. Try 1 new dinner recipe per month

We tried quite a few new recipes in March, here's the links to my favorites:

5. Read 52 books this year

I got 5 books read this month! Check out my reviews here

 Overall I am really happy with the way that my goals are progressing!

  1. That's so awesome that you are loving crossfit! I still suck at pushups...they just never get easier for me!

    1. Uggh I was doing so awesome at the WOD yesterday, but once I got to pushups it slowed me right down. So frustrating!!

    1. Thanks! Push-ups are the worst exercise ever invented... besides burpees. Those are worse.
